Frame of Mind
In the early hours of a dewy November day, Contessa Cornelia Foster reports her daughter, a renowned researcher and famous shut-in, missing from their manor. She was rumoured to be on the cusp of a major breakthrough. That morning, a bloodstain was found on the floor of her lab.
She’s not the only one unaccounted for. Her lab assistant and an artist-in-residence are also mysteriously absent.
Your clues are two crucial sources: A diary entry from the lab assistant and a sketch from the artist-in-residence, both dated the previous day. Their accounts are curiously contradictory.
Can you solve the inherent contradictions to crack the case of what truly happened?
- Hunt for contradicting clues in the diary and sketch.
- Drag pieces of the image or sketch onto each other to deduce the truth that lies between.
- Once you’ve resolved all elements of the scene, piece together the correct timeline of events.
- You can open the detective's journal at any point by clicking the notebook at the top of the screen.

Really interesting premise, it's just hard to read through the text and match it with the items since there's no full screen.
Hope this gets fixed so I can play through it properly!
Unsure how to redo and guess again! It was a bit of an eyestrain without full screen but I got around it by just clicking around haha
I like the concept a lot though and appreciate thinky games, thanks for making it!
Thanks for playing and for your feedback!! ☺️ improving the UI is definitely on the to-do list!
